KATHMANDU, June 11: A meeting between the ruling parties and Rastriya Janata Party- Nepal (RJP-N) held in Singha Durbar has ended without striking any deal.


The RJ P-N has said that it will announce its protest programs in a press conference at 4 pm after the meeting failed to reach consensus.

Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba had called the meeting at his office with the RJP-N in Singhadurbar in a bid to bring them on board the local level elections process.


RJP-N leaders Mahantha Thakur, Sarad Singh Bhandari, Mahendra Raya Yadav and Anil Kumar Jha were present in the meeting.


Likewise, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, senior Nepali Congress leader Ram Chandra Paudel, CPN (Maoist Center) leader Narayan Kaji Shrestha and Nepal Democratic Forum chairman Bjiaya Kumar Gachchhadar were present in the meeting representing the ruling alliance.
