KATHMANDU, Sept 26: A team from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), led by Vice Chairman Dr Swarnim Wagle, has returned to Kathmandu, cutting short the visit to China.
Initially scheduled for a 10-day trip, the 14-member delegation was asked to return home on Monday but faced difficulties securing tickets, ultimately arriving back in Kathmandu on Thursday morning.
Wagle is positive about becoming an RSP candidate in Tanahun 1:...
The decision to cut the visit short follows concerns regarding the potential arrest of RSP Chairman Rabi Lamichhane in a cooperative case. The team had accepted an invitation from the Chinese Communist Party, comprising seven MPs and seven non-MPs under Dr Wagle's leadership.
