KATHMANDU, June 12: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP)’s disciplinary commission has sought a clarification from Prakash Bista, President of the party's Sudurpaschim Province committee, for alleged actions in violation of party discipline. Sources indicate that the commission is preparing to initiate an investigation and take necessary action.
In the month of Baisakh, all nine district presidents from the province submitted a joint letter of concern to Sudurpaschim Province in-charge Hari Dhakal, demanding Bista’s removal from his position.
RSP seeks explanation from General Secretary Dhakal

The 11-point memorandum accuses Bista of making unilateral decisions, holding meetings without a formal agenda, submitting misleading reports to the central leadership, obstructing organizational campaigns, collecting forged signatures during provincial meetings, appointing close associates to key posts without consultation, and labeling internal critics as factionalists.
