KATHMANDU, Jan 12: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) Chairman Rabi Lamichhane is scheduled to appear in court today (Sunday). Former home minister Lamichhane is set to appear in the District Court, Kathmandu, today.

Lamichhane was released on a bail of Rs 6.5 million by the District Court, Kaski, last Thursday after numerous hearings on a case of embezzlement of funds from the Pokhara-based Suryadarshan Cooperative.
Moreover, Lamichhane is also a defendant in a case related to the embezzlement of funds from Kathmandu's Swarna Lakshmi Cooperative. That is why he is scheduled to appear in the District Court, Kathmandu for a statement today.
