LEKHNATH, Nov 21: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate for the member of the House of Representatives, Madhav Raj Kandel, is leading the vote count in constituency no 2 of Kaski district. So far, 500 votes have been counted.
Among the votes counted so far, Kandel has collected 162 votes while CPN UML's Bidya Bhattarai has got 122 votes. Similarly, CPN (Unified Socialist) candidate Shreenath Baral has collected 120 votes and Rastriya Prajatantra Party's Subarna Raj Pant 75 votes.
Even the vote count for Provincial Assembly under constituency no 2 has begun and the first update will be made public soon.
Moreover, the vote count of constituency no 1 and 3 in the district was to begin at 11:00AM, according to Provincial Election Officer Hum Prasad Parajuli.
