KATHMANDU, Oct 1: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has chosen to abstain from a scheduled meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal, along with six other political parties. The decision to boycott the meeting is rooted in the RSP's strong objection to the government's recent price hikes, which have placed a significant burden on the general populace, particularly during the festive season.

Rabi Lamichhane, the chairman of RSP, conveyed the party's stance via a Facebook post, where he explained the boycott as a form of protest against the government's actions, which have been detrimental to consumers during this festive period.
