KATHMANDU, Aug 24: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has removed three Bagmati provincial lawmakers for defying the party’s directive.
According to a statement issued under the signature of RPP Chair Rajendra Lingden, the party’s Central Disciplinary Committee decided to remove Raju Bista, Rajendra Prajapati and Gir Bahadur Tamang from their positions.

The three lawmakers had joined the Bagmati Provincial Government against a decision of the party’s Central Executive Committee.
The RPP said it has informed the deputy speaker of the Bagmati Provincial Assembly about the decision. The letter notifying their removal has also been registered at the provincial assembly secretariat, according to the party.
