KATHMANDU, Dec 12: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) Nepal said that democracy with constitutional monarchy, and recognising Nepal as a Hindu State are the appropriate alternatives of the time.
A central committee meeting of the party held today highlighted the need for changes along with good governance and prosperity as the nation's present requirement.

The meeting also demanded the government find out facts surrounding the sale of the shares of Ncell, a telecommunications service provider in Nepal, and take further actions accordingly.
Likewise, the meeting agreed to reach the people with 'appropriate vision and roadmap' necessary for nation building, according to the party’s Spokesperson Basantman Singh Adhikari.
The party has pressed the idea for a directly elected executive prime minister, adoption of the direct electoral system for the House of Representatives and the proportional electoral system for the National Assembly, inclusion and proportional representation, liberal economic system and the two-tier State structures, center and local-level.
