KATHMANDU, May 14: The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has called an extended meeting of the Central Working Committee of the party at Dhumbarahi in Kathmandu from Monday.
Leader Rajaram Shrestha said that the current political situation of the country, review of elections, review of organizational activities in provinces and districts, national and international situation will be discussed in the meeting which will last till 17th May.
RPP Chairman Lingden nominates 31 central members
RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden will present a political report on the future course of action and Senior Vice Chairman Rabindra Mishra will present a report on the strategy and tactics of the party organization. Secretariat related and financial reports will also be submitted.
The central members of the party will give their opinion on all the reports that will be presented in the meeting. After reviewing the action plan of the party, the future course of action will be decided. It is said that the preparations for the meeting that will be held after about 10 months of the plenary meeting held last July have been completed. The meeting which was scheduled for 13th and 14th of May was postponed because more preparations had to be made.
