KATHMANDU, Nov 2: Indina President Pranab Mukherjee is arriving on a three-day sitate visit to Nepal  on Wednesday. He is arriving at 12:30 pm.

Owing to his visit, traffic in the Kathmandu Valley is likely to be affected.

Traffict police have said that the following routes will be obstructed on November 2, 3 and 4, 2016:

• Vehicles plying the routes: Gaushala, Airport, Tinkune, New Baneshwor, Maitighar, Singhadurbar, Newroad Gate, Jamal, Kaiser Mahal, Lainchaur, Panipokhari, Narayan Gopal Chowk, Thapathali, Old Baneshwor, Shankhamul, and Putalisadak are strongly advised to follow alternative routes during 11:30 AM to 3 PM.

• Vehicles are not allowed to transport during 1 PM to 3 PM at Kaiser Mahal, Lainchaur, Lazimpat, Panipokhari, Narayan Gopal Chowk, Sohra Khutte, and Jai Nepal areas. 

• From 1:45 PM to 3:45 PM, Gaushala, Airport, Tinkune, New Baneshwar, Maitighar, Singha Durbar, Kaiser Mahal, Lainchaur, Lazimpat, Durbar Marg,Ghantaghar, Old Buspark, Mitrapark, Chabahil, Bouddha, Thapathali, Jorpati, Sohrakhutte, Jai Nepal, Koteshwar, Old Baneshwar, Shankhamul, and Putalisadak will be affected by the President's arrival.

• During 6 PM to 8 PM, Gaushala, Airport, Tinkune, New Baneshwar, Maitighar, Singha Durbar, Mitrapark, Chabahil, Bouddha, Thapathali, Kupondol, Tripureshwar, Teku, Bhotebahal, Kalimati, Soaltee Mode, Kalanki, Balkhu, Koteshwar, Old Baneshwar, and Shankhamul wil be affected.
