Romanian national nabbed with illegal currency

KATHMANDU, Aug 13: A Romanian national has been arrested with foreign currency from the Tribhuvan International Airport on Saturday.

Andrei Gumtritau, 34, was arrested with 35,000 US dollars and 7,350 Euros he was carrying illegally. He was arrested at the airport with the illegal currency notes which he had been carrying in a hand bag. He was leaving for Romania. RSS
