Rhino claims one in Chitwan

CHITWAN, May 30: A person died of rhino attack last night in Jagatpur of west Chitwan. 

According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, 50 years old Arjun Chhetri of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-25 died in the incident. 

Karki, who sustained serious injuries at 1:15 night from the rhino attack, died while receiving treatment at College of Medical Sciences Teaching Hospital, Bharatpur. 

Since the area is in the buffer zone of the Chitwan National Park, the wild animals from the national park cause frequent damages to human lives and properties. RSS
