RAUTAHAT, Feb 2: The Division Forest Office, Rautahat, has felicitated Republica journalist Madan Thakur.
Republica’s Rautahat district correspondent Thakur was honored on the occasion of the World Wetland Day for disseminating positive news to exert pressure for the evacuation of forest areas in the district.

Thakur, among others, was felicitated by Minister for Industry, Tourism, Forest and Environment of Province 2, Ram Naresh Yadav. On the occasion, Minister Yadav said that the provincial government is proactive in forest conservation.
