Subhash Ghimire, the editor of Republica national daily, discussed the role of newspapers in society and in the life of students at Kathmandu College of Management, Lalitpur on Tuesday.
Republica has started a talk series where the editor is involved in discussing the role of media in ensuring transparent governance. Moreover, he also talked about digging out the truth regarding corruption through news, and newspaper being the fourth pillar of a nation that checks and balances those in power.
Students from BBA level participated in the event. They asked about the role the young people play in creating a vibrant society.
