KATHMANDU, March 20: Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) chairperson Kamal Thapa has commented that Nepal and Nepali could not experience anything change after the abolishment of the monarchy 12 years ago.

Speaking in Nagarik Frontline on Wednesday, RPP chair Thapa claimed that monarchy is the only option for the country for the unity and sovereignty keeping the interest of national security in the center at a time when there has been a debate of corruption and secession. He said that current leadership failed to meet the aspiration of the public during these 12 years.

While talking about the religion, Thapa said that RPP always respects and accepts all religions and asserted that the party backs the Hindu state with freedom of religion.
