Regmi calls upon public to be ready for polls

KATHMANDU, May 17: Chairman of the Council of Ministers Khil Raj Regmi has appealed to the general public to get mentally prepared for the second elections to the Constituent Assembly.



Releasing a collection of bhajans titled "Flames of Devotion" by sculptor Thakur Prasad Mainali here on Friday, he said we should not distrust the CA just because it failed once.



There is no alternative to giving the nation a new constitution by making the upcoming elections successful, he added.



Dr Govinda Raj Bhattarai, Dr Tikaram Adhikari and Dr Ammaraj Joshi commented on the compilation at the programme organized by the Fine Art Critics Society.
