KATHMANDU, Sept 6: Thirty-eight of the people injured in the Bhotekoshi River flood in Rasuwa on August 26 have been discharged from the National Trauma Center in Kathmandu after treatment.
A total of 58 people injured in the flood were rescued and brought to Kathmandu. According to Kathmandu District Police Range spokesperson and Superintendent of Police Dan Bahadur Thapa, 50 of them were brought to the National Trauma Center for treatment.

Of those admitted, 38 have been discharged after their health improved, police said.
Twelve injured people are currently receiving treatment at the National Trauma Center. According to the hospital administration, the health condition of most of those undergoing treatment is normal.
Nepal Police has established citizen assistance desks at Bir Hospital and the National Trauma Center to provide necessary information to relatives of people injured or missing in the Bhotekoshi flood.
Police said people have continued visiting the assistance desks to inquire about the health condition of injured individuals and register details of missing relatives. Family members arriving at the hospitals have also been receiving updates on their relatives’ health and treatment.
