KATHMANDU, Dec 28: National Poet (Rastrakabi) Madhav Prasad Ghimire has shared that he is bringing an epic encompassing experience of a century of his life. 

He disclosed this while addressing a get-together programme held on the occasion of the sixth establishment years of the Federation of National Senior Citizens on Wednesday. 

Rastrakabi Ghimire further shared that he will come up with the epic on the occasion of his birth centenary. 

Pointing out the need of care, compassion and love to senior citizens, he called for the government to bring effective support package for senior citizens. 

Federation's acting Chairperson Madan Das Shrestha said that the nation should utilize the experience and expertise of senior citizens in the making of prosperous nation. 

Shrestha informed that there are around 3.7 million senior citizens in the country and the Federation has its chapters in 65 districts.
