KATHMANDU, March 7: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Rajib Khatry has won in Bhaktapur–2, securing 42,333 votes.

His closest rival, CPN-UML candidate Mahesh Basnet, collected 10,717 votes. Standing in third position, Nepali Congress candidate Kabir Rana received 8,305 votes.
