Raj Brewery launches Mountain Ice beer

KATHMANDU, Feb 12: Raj Brewery, a subsidiary of Jawalakhel Group of Industries, has launched a premium strong beer, Mountain Ice, in the Nepali market. "Brewed to international standards with imported malts and select hops, Mountain Ice offers Nepali consumers a distinct premium product based on their taste preferences," the company said in a statement on Monday. Marketed with the tagline 'Brewed for Adventure – Real Taste, Real Beer', Mountain Ice comes with 6.5 percent alcohol and is available for Rs 230 per bottle (650 ml). The product will be available in the market by February-end.
