KATHMANDU, May 24: Western winds and local air currents currently influence the country. Moisture-laden winds from the Bay of Bengal and the Arabian Sea also partially affect the weather.
Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms may occur in one or two locations throughout all seven provinces, said the Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
Thunderstorms forecast till Thursday
MFD further stated that Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati provinces, and other hilly areas will experience partly to generally cloudy skies. At the same time, the rest of the regions will see mainly clear to partly cloudy weather. Light to moderate rain with thunderstorms is falling in some parts of Bagmati province and in one or two locations in Koshi, Madhesh, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces.
This afternoon, all seven provinces will have partly to generally cloudy weather, with light to moderate rain and thunderstorms expected in one or two places. Light snowfall with light rain may occur in one or two mountainous areas.
