According to press release issued by Sarwanam Theater, the short movie called ‘Raat 13’ directed by Anuj Pandey bagged the best short movie title in three minutes cell phone film competition Drishyansha which was organized by the Sarwanam Theater. The movie titled ‘Dhalpal’ by Arpan Basnet and ‘The Interview’ by Bijay Gajmer became first and second runner up respectively.
Likewise, short movie ‘Amrit’ won the public choice award and ‘Smile’ directed by Sharmila Ale bagged the best mention.

Some of the top 10 movies in the competition including ‘The Departure’ by Nabin Neupane, ‘Katha: An Intimacy With Time’ by Sundar Lama, ‘Ye Kata’ by Nava Shrestha, ‘Dream of House Wife’ by Ashim, ‘Mahila Karmachari Tu: Abaskyata’ were also showed at the event.
The winner of short movie received cash price of Rs 75,000 whereas first runner up and second runner up bagged Samsung Tab V and iPad respectively. Moreover, first, second and third are offered three-month drama training at Sarwanam Theater.
Addressing to final event, playwright Ashesh Malla said the main reason of organizing the competition was to encourage even common people to participate in the competition.
The coordinator of Drishyansha, Sampada Malla shared that they wanted to establish that movie can be made also with a small budget.
Four judges in the panel were Deepak Rauniyar, Nischal Basnet, Avinash Bikram Shah and Sushil Poudel. The Cinemaghar had co-sponsored while Neo Spear, Dal Bhaat Power and Kantipur Film Academy sponsored competition respectively.
