KATHMANDU: Qatar Airways Tuesday announced a direct service between Doha and Nice, the airline"s second destination in France.
Issuing a statement, Qatar Airways Group Chief Executive Akbar Al Baker said: 'We are truly delighted to launch direct services between Doha and Nice. With five weekly flights operating between the two cities, passengers from the south of France can now connect to more than 150 destinations world-wide through Doha"s Hamad International Airport.'
According to the statement, Qatar Airways recently started a partnership with the French Riviera"s premium helicopter operator Monacair, providing passengers arriving in Nice a way to connect to Monte Carlo.
The airline recently added Dublin in Ireland to its global route network and will add Skopje in Macedonia, Prague in the Czech Republic, Sohar in Oman, and Kiev in Ukraine, it said.
