KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Airways has announced the schedule of a new flight on the Kathmandu- Doha sector, effective from September 2, 2018. The flight will depart Kathmandu at 2:10AM and reach Doha at 4:45AM. According to a statement issued by the company on Monday, the flight will conveniently connect to all the US and majority European destination. The company also said that this initiative has been taken based on the requests of the Minister for Civil Aviation Rabindra Adhikari and Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) Sanjeev Gautam. The additional flight makes use of the TIA's new operational timing of 21 hours, according to the statement. Qatar Airways at the moment has 4 daily flights from Kathmandu connecting to more than 150 destinations.
