Q&A session with PM Oli removed from agenda following obstruction

Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire announced that the scheduled direct question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister had been removed from the agenda as the lawmakers continued their protest demanding probe into the visit visa controversy.

KATHMANDU, June 20: Speaker Dev Raj Ghimire announced that the scheduled direct question-and-answer session with the Prime Minister had been removed from the agenda as the lawmakers continued their protest demanding probe into the visit visa controversy.



Lawmakers from the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) once again chanted slogans during today’s meeting of the House of Representatives.

As soon as the meeting began, RSP and RPP lawmakers started protesting. Speaker Ghimire repeatedly urged them to take their seats.
