KATHMANDU, July 25: The government on Thursday has appointed Purushottam Khanal as the chairperson of Nepal Telecommunications Authority (NTA).
Speaking at the regular press meet organized to make public the cabinet's recent decisions, Minister for Communication and Information Technology Gokul Prasad Baskota informed media persons of the decision to this effect.
Khanal was working in the capacity of acting chairperson of the NTA following the resignation of his predecessor Digambar Jha.
