KATHMANDU, June 4: Government has announced a public holiday on June 5 to observe the Eid-ul-Fitr, the biggest festival of the Muslim community.
Issuing a press statement on Tuesday, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MoHA) has announced the public holiday on the occasion of Eid.
Earlier, speaking at a program to inform the cabinet decision on May 30, Minister for Communication and Information Technology and government spokesperson Gokul Baskota had informed the government decision to give public holiday on the occasion of Eid.
