KATHMANDU, Feb 22: Provincial Assembly parliamentarian from Dang 3(B) Uttar Kumar Oli has died while undergoing treatment at Medi Citi Hospital, Lalitpur.
"Oli was suffering from hypoxic brain injury. He also underwent dialysis and had a constant fever," a source said on condition of anonymity. Hypoxic brain injury is a type of brain injury that occurs when there is a disruption in supply of oxygen to the brain.

"We are shocked by the untimely demise of Uttam Kumar Oli," Nepal Communist Party's Central Committee Member, Bishnu Rijal said.
Oli's body will be kept at the NCP's central office at Dhumbarahi and will later be transported to Dang, his home district for final rituals.
Oli was injured in a road accident on the Ghorahi-Lamahi section of on the evening of February 7.
