Province PSC cancels exam of 22 candidates who tried to influence examiner

SURKHET, Sept 4: Province Public Service Commission (PSC), Surkhet, has canceled the examination of 22 candidates who wrote their names, phone numbers and roll numbers on their answer sheets to influence the examiners. The provincial PSC has also taken action by debarring one person for two years and 21 people for one year to take the examination.

SURKHET, Sept 4: Province Public Service Commission (PSC), Surkhet, has canceled the examination of 22 candidates who wrote their names, phone numbers and roll numbers on their answer sheets to influence the examiners. The provincial PSC has also taken action by debarring one person for two years and 21 people for one year to take the examination.


According to Province PSC Chairman Ram Prasad Upadhyay, in the written examination conducted on June 4 for the post of Engineer Service Civil Group, Integrated Subgroup, Assistant Level 5th Sub-Engineer, some examinees wrote their names, phone numbers and roll numbers on the inside pages of their answer sheets to influence the examiners.

The commission said that Rajendra Shahi of Soru Rural Municipality-1 of Mugu district was punished by not allowing him to participate in any examination of the commission for two years. Similarly, Mamta Poudel Chhetri of Rambha-3 Palpa, Prem Jaiswal of Chandrapur-5 Rautahat, Prabin Pulami Magar of Birendranagar-11 Surkhet, Saroj Kumar Mahato of Mahottari-2, Ram Bahadur Chauhan Malla of Dharala-6 Bajhang, Arun Kumar Shah of Haripur-9 Sarlahi, Suresh Tamrakar of Ajaymeru-2 Dadeldhura, Sushil Yadav of Bodebsign-6 Saptari cannot be a candidate in the examination for one year and all the exams advertisement published in the financial year 2021/22 have been canceled.


Similarly, Dev Narayan Acharya of Dungeshwar-5 Dailekh, Rajesh Kumar Yadav of Mithila Bihari-6 Dhanusha, Prakash Baduwal of Lekbeshi-1 Surkhet, Bhuvan Chandra Joshi of Ajaymeru-5 Dadeldhura, Rahul Katharia of Janaki-4 Kailali, Pradeep Bhatta of Dashrath Chand-4 Baitadi, Birendra Bahadur Adhikari of Hima-6 Jumla, Damwar Bahadur Dhami of Kedarsu-6 Bajhang, Hiradevi Dangi of Chaurajahari-7 Rukum Paschim, Lokendra Bista of Sunil Smriti-3 Rolpa, Narendra Awasthi of Bitthadchir-8 Bajhang and Shambhu Prasad Shah of Bodebsain-7 Saptari were also barred from being a candidate in PSC exams for one year and all the exams have been canceled, according to the commission.
