KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Property worth two billion gutted in the fire when a fire broke out at Bhagwati woollen thread factory at Gokarneshwar municipality-4 in Kathmandu on Saturday morning.

The fire was brought under control after three hours with the help of seven fire engines, personnel of Armed Police Force and local residents, according to DSP Narendra Bahadur Chand.

DSP Chand said that the fire might have caused by an electrical short-circuit.
