INARUWA May 23: Properties worth Rs 400,000 plus was destroyed in a fire that occurred in Dewangunj Rural Municipality-1 in Sunsari district Tuesday night.
The fire gutted four houses of Ghopa Pal and Sewan Pal of Madhyaharsahi village by destroying their properties, according to the District Police Office, Sunsari.

Police shared that food items, clothes, pieces of furniture and other goods were gutted in the incident.
Local resident Suman Mehata said the fire was taken under control with the help of a fire brigade from Inaruwa Municipality, local people and police personnel.
