Promotion committee recommends three names for a vacant post of secretary

KATHMANDU, August 19: The names of three people have been recommended for one vacant post of secretary.

The promotion recommendation committee has recommended the names of joint secretaries Ghanshyam Upadhyaya, Narayan Sharma Duwadi and Dinesh Ghimire.

The next Cabinet meeting will promote one of the recommended people to the post of secretary. After the retirement of Laxman Aryal, secretary at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, the post is vacant.

Among those recommended, Upadhyaya is the Chief District Officer of Lalitpur. Similarly, Duwadi is working in the Ministry of Industry, while Ghimire is the Consul General in China.
