KATHMANDU, June 28: Districts Administration Offices of three districts in the Kathmandu Valley – Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur – have decided to extend the ongoing prohibitory order by one more week. However, they have decided to further ease the prohibitory order allowing a few more public activities.
Here are some major activities that will be allowed from Tuesday:
Factories, industries and construction activities can be operated adopting proper COVID-19 health safety protocols
Grocery stores, dairy, meat shops, vegetables and fruits shops, book shops, stationary to remain open till 6 PM
Departmental stores, shopping mall, clothes and shoe stores, cosmetics, jewelry shops, electronic stores, automobile related stores and mobile showrooms to remain open from 11 AM to 6 PM
Public vehicles with more than 25 seats capacity are allowed to operate inside Kathmandu Valley according to odd-even rule.
All government offices related to development and public services allowed to operate on shift basis
Banks and other financial institutes can operate mobilizing minimum manpower and avoiding large gatherings
