SURUNGA, Oct 31: The members of the probe panel formed by the government to investigate into the death of 11-year-old Laxman Siwakoti of Arjundhara Municipality-11 in Jhapa district has returned to the capital city on Monday.
The team led by Joint Secretary of Ministry of Home Affairs Birendra Kumar Yadav had arrived in Jhapa on Saturday.
Chief District Officer of Jhapa Rishiram Tiwari said that the team members returned to the capital city after concluding the field works. The committee members took stock of the incident with the people's representatives, media persons and district security committee.
The committee is expected to submit the report of Birtamod incident to the Ministry of Home Affairs within seven days.
