KATHMANDU, July 13: Business communities boycotted the budget speech on Monday after they were ´offended by the seating arrangement´ in the parliament.

"We boycotted the event because we felt humiliated," Surendra Bir Malakar, the president of Nepal Chamber of Commerce, said after coming out of the parliament. "In earlier speeches, we were given seats allocated for distinguished guests but this time we were asked to seat in the viewers´ gallery."
