Principal accused of sexually abusing 7th-grader, students protest in Mahottari

JANAKPURDHAM, Dec 29: Sanjeev Kumar Jha, the principal of Shree Laxmi Chandi Murarka Secondary School in Jaleshwar Municipality-2, Mahottari, has been accused of sexually abusing a 7th-grade student. In protest of the alleged incident, students have staged demonstrations since Sunday morning.


The protesters, including parents, gathered in front of the District Administration Office, blocking roads by burning tires and demanding immediate action against the accused principal. The situation in the area became tense as students raised slogans and pressed for justice.
