KATHMANDU, Dec 3: Prime Minister K P Oli has called a cabinet meeting at 4 pm Thursday.

The meeting will be held at the Prime Minister's Official Residence in Baluwatar. Sources close to Prime Minister Oli said this is a regular cabinet meeting. The cabinet meeting is regularly held on every Monday and Thursday.

Earlier on Thursday, Prime Minister Oli held a meeting with President Bidhya Devi Bhandari. Although the meeting has been described as a regular meeting of the prime minister to brief the head of the state about the functioning of the government, this is seen with much interest in the political circle as the intra-party rift within the ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) is deepening further in recent days.
