Stating that the party has adopted the ideology of "people's democracy" on the guidance of the main thought of "people's multi-party democracy" at present and this could be gradually revised, Oli claimed that those seeking to split the party did not have any ideology.
He charged that some leaders (indicating at rival faction leader Pushpa Kamal Dahal) were trying to misguide the youths but the government and the party was in favor of peaceful political activities. "We do not believe in violence but believe in people. There would not be any irregularities now in the name of combatants' funds or election unlike in the past," Oli asserted.
At the program, NCP Nuwakot's leader Keshav Raj Pandey said the party will organize a district-level program in Nuwakot on February 1.
