KATHMANDU, Dec 12: The price of gold has been fixed at Rs 92,500 per tola in the Nepali market on the first trading day of the week. The price of gold, which was traded at Rs 92,200 per tola on Friday, rose by Rs 300 per tola today.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of standard gold today is Rs 92,000 per tola. It was Rs 91,700 per tola on Friday.
Similarly, the price of silver today has increased by Rs 5 per tola to Rs 1,190, the federation said. Gold is being traded at around USD 1,783 per ounce in the international market today.
The federation has been fixing the price of gold and silver in Nepal in line with the transaction price of the international market.
