Price of gold hits new record of Rs 164,400 per tola

KATHMANDU, Oct 18: The price of gold, which has been rising steadily in the domestic market, set a new record on Friday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, the price of gold surged to Rs 164,400 per tola on Friday, up from Rs 162,400 per tola on Thursday.

Meanwhile, the price of silver has also increased in the domestic market. Silver is being traded at Rs 1,980 per tola on Friday, up from Rs 1,950 per tola the previous day.
