KATHMANDU, Oct 17: The price of gold has set a new record again in the domestic market on Thursday.


According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers' Associations, the price of gold has surged to Rs 162,400 per tola, marking increases of Rs 600 per tola. This is the highest price of gold recorded so far which has surpassed the previous record set on October 16, trading at Rs 161,800 per tola.

Meanwhile, the piece of silver remained unchanged on Thursday. Silver was traded at Rs 1,950 per tola on the previous day.
