Prez expresses condolence on the demise of Padma Ratna Tuladhar

KATHMANDU, Nov 5: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of democratic movement leader, human rights activist and former minister Padma Ratna Tuladhar and also expressed condolence to the bereaved family.

नेपालको लोकतान्त्रिक आन्दोलनका योद्धा एवं मानवअधिकारवादी अभियन्ता पूर्वमन्त्री पद्मरत्न तुलाधरको निधनले मलाई दुःखित तुल्याएको छ । उहाँको महत्वपूर्ण योगदानको राष्ट्रले सदा स्मरण गरिरहनेछ । मुलुकलाई अपुरणीय क्षति पुगेको यस दुःखद घडीमा शोकसन्तप्त परिवारप्रति समवेदना प्रकट गर्दछु ।

In a tweet, she wrote that the nation would ever remember Tuladhar’s significant contributions to the country.
Noted human rights campaigner Tuladhar had breathed her last at Norvic Hospital Kathmandu on Sunday afternoon in course of treatment. RSS
