KATHMANDU, Feb 23: The Election Commission (EC) has invited complaints against anyone included in the voters’ list for the upcoming presidential candidates till 12 noon today.


EC officials said complaints can be made against the person whose name is included in the voter list as part of the presidential election process.

According to the election calendar of events, the final list of voters will be published on Friday. Claims, protests and complaints can be made till 12 noon today. 


Similarly, necessary investigation will be conducted from 12 pm to 3 pm today. There is an agenda to announce the final list from 3pm to 4 pm on Friday. The election of President will be held on March 9.


Nominations will be registered on February 23. Voting for the President will be held on March 9 from 10 am to 3pm. 


The counting of votes will start from 4pm and the EC is ready to announce the results by 7 pm on the same day.
