UML’s presidential candidate Nembang to meet leaders of RPP, Unified Socialist  and RSP today to solicit votes

KATHMANDU, March 2: UML candidate for the presidency, Subash Chandra Nemwang, is going to meet the top leaders of other parties today and ask for votes. It is said that he is preparing to personally meet the leaders of CPN (Unified Socialist), Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) and Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) and ask them to vote for him.

He was scheduled to meet CPN (Unified Socialist) Chairman Madhav Kumar Nepal at 11AM. Along with Nemwang, Bishnu Paudel and Prithvi Subba Gurung will also be present in the meeting.

Similarly, he will meet Rabi Lamichhane, chairman of RSP, at 1PM. Along with Nemwang, Yogesh Bhattarai and other leaders will participate in the meeting.

Similarly, at 2:30PM, he will meet RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden and ask for the votes of RPP for the President. RPP and RSP have not yet announced who they will vote for in the presidential election. The CPN (Unified Socialist) has made it public that it supports Nepali Congress (NC) leader Ramchandra Paudel, who is a candidate from the eight-party alliance. Earlier, the secretariat meeting of CPN-UML had sent a letter to all the parties except the Nepali Congress and asked for votes. Despite his party writing to other parties for votes, Nemwang has prepared to meet the leaders of other parties personally to solicit their votes .
