KATHMANDU, Dec 25: President Bidhya Devi Bhandari wished happiness, peace, good health and longevity to all Christian Nepali brothers and sisters at home and abroad on the occasion of Christmas.
In her message, President Bhandari said that such festivals would enhance the spirit of mutual harmony, tolerance and unity among the communities with diverse cultural identities and religious beliefs and help in strengthening national unity.

President Bhandari also said that festivals like Christmas Day should inspire all Nepalis to move towards building a civilized society and prosperous Nepal by deepening the spirit of mutual trust, love and brotherhood among all Nepalis.
