KATHMANDU, April 16: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has held consultations and solicited suggestions from the former Prime Ministers as well as leaders of various political parties in regard to her upcoming State Visit to India.
President Bhandari is embarking on a five-day visit to India on Monday at the invitation of the Indian President Pranab Mukherjee.

Bhandari summoned leaders as Nepali Congress President, also former Prime Minister, Sher Bahadur Deuba, Naya Shakti Nepal Coordinator and former Prime Minister Dr Baburam Bhattarai at her office Shital Niwas for the same.
Also present during the consultation were CPN-UML Vice-Chair Bam Dev Gautam, Terai-Madhes Lokatantrik Party Chairman Bijay Gachchhadar, United Rastriya Prajatantra Party Chair Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani.
On the occasion, the Head of the State said that her upcoming visit to India would further consolidate the historical ties between Nepal and India. RSS
