KATHMANDU, May 13: President Bidya Devi Bhandari has called for making the local level election scheduled for Sunday, May 14, successful. 

Issuing a message to the voters on Saturday, on the eve of the Election Day, the President appealed for making the election successful in a peaceful manner. 

"This election has its own importance as it is the first step of the three tiers of elections that the Constitution of Nepal has enshrined to be completed within January 21, 2018 in the context of the country going for a new structure. I am confident that this election shall open the door to stability and economic prosperity by empowering the local level," the President stated. 

The President has appealed to all the voters to exercise their adult franchise by participating in the local level election with fervour and enthusiasm. RSS
