JANAKPURDHAM, Sept 25:Deputy Prime Minister Bimalendra Nidhi today said the government was preparing to amend the constitution.
Addressing a programme organised today to administer oath to newly elected officer bearers of the Janakpur Gold and Silver Dealers' Association, DPM Nidhi said it was also the responsibility of all to conclude the three levels of elections on time. "The country now needs constitution amendment and its implementation, but not any protest," he said.
Nidhi said the decision to establish a high court in Janakpur of Dhanusa has opened the door to make Janakpur the capital of the province. "Sprit of federalism would be met if Janakpur is protected a as the identity of Mithila culture in consistent with the new federal setup." RSS
