PPMO blacklists eight contractors for breaching laws

KATHMANDU, July 26: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) on Tuesday blacklisted eight companies for failing to abide by the procurement laws.

KATHMANDU, July 26: The Public Procurement Monitoring Office (PPMO) on Tuesday blacklisted eight companies for failing to abide by the procurement laws.


The government authority has blacklisted Dinesh Chandra R/ Nagarjun/Koshi and Neupane JV that has been working on the Balaju-Trishuli and Chhahare-Bidur road segments, for the next three years. Likewise, Shiva Ram Construction Company/Siddhagadhi Engineering and Builders JV and BT/Shiva Ram JV have been kept in the government’s blacklist for the next three years after these companies dilly-dallied in completing drinking water supply projects in Dang.

Similarly, the PPMO has blacklisted Aman and Isha Construction, Akash and Pawan Construction, Drop Supply and Services Pvt Ltd, Thokar/Neeva/Layule JV and Rujan/Jagadamba/Bhuvaneshwori and Baibhav JV for the next one year.


These companies will be barred from taking part in construction of any government projects for the prescribed time period.
