This includes the Mahabauddha substation, New Road Gate, Ranjana Hall, inside the Bishal Bazaar substation, in front of Bishal Bazaar, Ganeshthan, upto cable head behind Trauma Hospital.

The NEA has stated that the power outage is necessary to shut down the feeder for underground cable work in those areas. If the scheduled work is completed ahead of time, power service will resume earlier than the designated time.
